ROLE - I NSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

You design and build training programs that make a measurable difference.

You will work on curriculum development, eLearning production, and training program design for Axion's US-based clients. You manage your own projects from needs analysis through to LMS-ready deliverables.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Conduct training needs analyses and document performance gaps

  • Develop curriculum maps, learning objectives, and storyboards for client sign-off

  • Build interactive eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360

  • Produce video-based content using Synthesia and Camtasia

  • Package all content as SCORM, xAPI, or AICC and test before handover

  • Create facilitator guides, job aids, and supporting learner materials

  • Collaborate directly with client SMEs to validate technical accuracy

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field

  • Ability to write clear instructional content for adult learners at varying technical levels

CONTRACT TERMS

  • Minimum 8 consecutive months outside Kenya per deployment — firm, non-negotiable requirement

  • All flights, accommodation, per diem, and local transport fully covered by Axion

  • Not suitable for individuals with family obligations that prevent extended travel

  • Independent Contractor · 2 weeks unpaid leave · Medical coverage included
